The 23rd year of this 'cool' festival of architecture, design, engineering and landspace continues to reach the imagination of 8 million Londoners but much more than that opens the 'eyes, minds and ..doors' to the value of a quality environment now and into the future.  MPs and ministers alike out on the on the street and tweeting - it is certainly something to reaches out to everyone, but at its heart, is saying here are some great exemplars of design, no reason why this should not be in the DNA of the whole city!
But having founded it 23rd years ago (time definitely flies), I am standing down to bring on the next generation of director, whilst I look at the value and impact it has had in London but also worldwide as now impacts in 32 cities across the globe.
The job description is on our website and looking forward to see who are the next generation of directors !
